And she took my hand as she walked in the sand in the rain.And I was aware of the love that was dying, untying all we had been. And it was way too late to prop up this corpse yet again.And sometimes I see her when I close my eyes and all I can hear is my breath.And sometimes I need her when I close my heart and all I can think of is death.And sometimes I scream when I think of the tears- the bitter tears that were wept. And all that I needed and all that I loved is now windswept.Well she told me her words that were lying but smiling like thieves in the night. And out in the distance a ship sailing lost in the mist.The beach it was empty and lifeless and cold like the stars at midnight. Her lips were as red as the ruby she wore on her wrist.And sometimes I see her when I close my eyes and all I can hear is my breath.And sometimes I need her when I close my heart and all I can think of is death.And sometimes I scream when I think of the tears- the bitter tears that were wept.And all that I needed and all that I loved is now windswept.And I understand all the learning and churning and burning of life.
