Jason Spencer (Drums/Vocals):

Hi, I'm Jason. I started taking drum lessons at the age of 8 and continued until I was 12.  I played in the E.W.M.S. concert band and went on to the E.W.H.S. concert and stage bands under the direction of Ted Catino.

When I was 19, I started playing out in clubs with Lucky Look, who played country music around the state of Connecticut for many years (and still is today).  I worked with them for about 5 years.  I then went on to work with another country group called Country Gold throughout the mid to late 80's.

In 1992, I joined a group which called High Country which lasted until about 1996.  Beginning in 1998, I worked with a group called Rodeo Band for about 2 years.  In October of 2000, Lou Johnson called me to try out for drumming in this band (Quintera).  We all worked out great and I enjoy working with the group very much, and plan on for may years to come.

I always liked all kinds of music from Rock, Southern Rock, Country, and Top 40.

I have had many drum kits through the years.  I started at the age of 8 with a blue sparkle Japanese set.  Next I got a Red Oyster Pearl Ludwig set, which I had through my school years.  My sets have all been 5 piece sets with Zildjian Cymbals, the best you can have.  From the Ludwig set I went to a red Remo with pertuned heads, keeping all the same cymbals.  I sold it for a black Slingerland 5 piece to my current set, an Olympic by Premier.

I have gotten to know good people in the music business and worked with alot of country bands by filling in for other drummers.  I hope to be playing drums for many more years.
